It seems this question is on the minds of consumers. The fact is 700 is considered a good credit and score and might even be considered a very good credit score. The FICO score scale ranges from 300 to 850. Just be looking at the scale you can already tell that you will be near the top with a 700.

Another reason that makes 700 a good credit score is the fact you will be on the top of American consumers. Most people are below you in the FICO score scale. This means you will receive rewards for your good FICO score. The reward is a lower interest rate on your loans. If you look at mortgage that is 30 years, any help you get on an interest rate will save you a lot of money. Even a one point interest rate change can add up to roughly 75% in mortgage payments over the life of the loan

    anything above a 700 score is good.
